In chambers black where terrors creep,
My thoughts, like ravens, circle near.
"You Cowardice Soul!" – I dare not weep
While a nameless dread confirms my fear.
The spectral hate has come once more
This sepulcher shall be my final store
No hope exists beyond death's door.
Self-loathing grows with every breath,
As violence flows toward its darkest end.
My sanctuary sentences me to death
As starless night becomes my friend.
Hope's phantom light shall never return,
In blindness shall my spirit burn,
A thrall to shadows, doomed to yearn.
But wait! What hearty hand appears
To grasp a wretch so steeped in sin?
My anguish melts to burning tears,
As light begins to draw me in.
Sweet freedom calls with strange allure,
Deliver me from torments pure,
This touch divine, my soul's secure?
Now warmth upon my visage plays,
While equilibrium fills my core,
The light dispels the dismal haze,
With love divine never felt before.
Heaven's radiance grants tranquility,
In luminescence, identity,
Bliss eternal –divinity.
